All of this is packaged in 3 re-usable hessian bags.
The selection consists of:
- 40g The Madras spice mix: A popular dish from the Madras province, consisting of a rich, hot and sour taste. Chilli, lemon juice and tomato puree are very important in this curry.
- 40g Rogan Josh spice mix: Specially prepared with pimento and garlic, with the maximum amount of added tomato.
- 40g Chicken Tikka Masala spice mix: The dish, which comprises cream/yoghurt, (or even evaporated milk) tomato sauce and a small selection of spices, produces a mouth-watering curry which is hard to resist.
- 40g Jalfrezi spice mix: Translated into ‘dry fry’. Fried in oil and spices, peppers, onions and green chillies, this curry produces a thick and dry sauce.
- 40g Korma spice mix: A delicate preparation of cream and selected spices, producing a very mild flavour.
- 40g Balti spice mix: Balti has served Birmingham well – its “Balti Triangle” boasts dozens of restaurants specialising in the dish. Balti is, though, a firm favourite right across the British Isles and beyond as a takeout or dine-in.
